I solved the problem.
I hd a fortran compuiler installed and it is found:
configure:5331: g77 --version </dev/null >&5
GNU Fortran (GCC) 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
butr it was not working. I installed another fortran compiler (gccfortran) and
it worked.
