I recall working on a 390 that had thin rubber gaskets on the meters that
had hardened badly...Whether they were original I can't say...

In one of my restorations I ran across panel meters that had a very thin,
rubberized cork gasket where the rubbery layer was a bit gooey from age.
It was the original, (radium painted) panel meters so they were not
aftermarket replacements. I do not recall who had made the front panel
(EAC, Collins?)
