Hi everyone
I've compiled the source for Wireshark-3.2.5 (as the Debian packages are still
on 2.6.x). By default this drops the compiled binaries into /usr/local/bin/.
I would assume that you could manage to change default path to /usr/bin.
Certainly in the configure or such.
I've then shut down the TemplateVM and created a new AppVM (based on this
TemplateVM) called /my-new-qube/, as a test. However, when I start it up, the
wireshark binary is not available. In fact, when I list out the contents of
/usr/local/bin/ on /my-new-qube,/ there is nothing at all there.
From my understanding of the docs, /usr/local/ is persistent and should be
made available to any AppVMs that are based on the TemplateVM.
Yes.
If that is indeed correct, I've hit a bit of a brick wall on this one, so any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks heaps,
Mike

/usr/local is persistent within the appVM. It is not copied from the
template.
Compile wireguard in your appVM.
Mike.
