Well BJ, back in 93 I drove headlong into a tree in my van and shattered both legs. Both had to be in casts for several months. My knees were shattered all to pieces. A very ugly situation. I developed pressure sores everywhere the cast touched me. Heels, ankles, sides of knees. It took many months to recuperate. Make sure you cut a hole in the cast wherever it touches you.

So I broke my leg Last Friday Night turning around in the dark with my power chair. The toe of my boot caught on my bed and I twisted it and heard a pop. So now I have a cast up to my knee that I can't feel. Anyone on here have any experience dealing with a broken bone below your level of injury?
