Greg,

 

After my injury in 1998 the Dr’s scheduled me for this procedure without 
consulting with me. I decided to wait and see a urologist that my OB/GYN Dr 
worked with regularly. 

He said in his opinion that as long as I didn’t have recurring infections that 
it wasn’t necessary. I have had an indwelling catheter for almost 19 years and 
only a few infections.

I’m sticking with it as long as I can.

Have you ladies thought of a Supra Pubic cath through the tummy area. I would 
think safer, cleaner, easier, faster, and a bunch of other ...ers.
