That was something we talked about this morning……..just wasn’t sure if it would cause more pressure though. Definitely trying this tonight and praying it looks better in the morning..

One of my caregivers noticed last night I am getting another one. I am pretty sure it’s from laying on my back in bed. I prop my feet up and my pillow top has a deep indention where my butt is. I do have a air bed on top of the mattress. I can’t lay on my side because my catheter doesn’t drain. Suggestions please on how you would relieve pressure on this area. Home health nurse left me aquacell to put on it but they are 6 x 6 ……..she said just cut them but that leaves 2 edges that aren’t sealed and I thought you weren’t suppose to put that directly on an open sore?
