This is true for QMake (and CMake?) projects, which are capable of
expressing sub-projects and project dependencies. For generic projects, the
session is the only mechanism that allows this expression, and its lack of
sharability is a significant functionality gap for larger generic make
projects.

That would be very helpful and much appreciated, again especially by folks
using generic makefile projects.
