Yes, and supporting biarch properly would create quite some headaches.
U-boot does support targets that are 64bit, so we can't just always
declare the link target 32bit.
And the subdir thing didn't work for me either. However I did spot a
good number of places where the makefile assumes that subdirs mean you
only want to create a module and behave differently, so again it's
fragile wrt updates.
I really think we're safest off ignoring biarch for now. When someone
who knows the toolchain well wants to take another stab at it, he at
least knows where to start based on my earlier patches ;)
