This was added in 9138977b18 ("s390x/kvm: Configure page size after memory has 
actually been
initialized") for the purposes of calling qemu_getrampagesize(), but that got 
renamed and later
moved by c6cd30fead ("system: Declare qemu_[min/max]rampagesize() in 
'system/hostmem.h'"). So I
agree this is no longer needed.
