Note: I maintained  the struct usage as opposed to uint64_t bitmask usage
as suggested by Akihiko, because the latter feel a bit more invasive.

Though this statement is not going to be comitted, I think it needs an update; I showed the level of intrusion will be about the same though there is another downside of syntactical redundandancy. I would just leave the URL to the previous argument:
