Jordan, can you document this on the wiki (http://wiki.qemu.org/ChangeLog/1.1#x86)? I found http://wiki.qemu.org/Features/PC_System_Flash but I do not really understand what it is used for etc. If you need an account, you can ask on the mailing list and/or post the text here for me to include it.
