In the Python interactive prompt you can try:
[var for var in dir() if not (var.startswith('_') or var=='var')]
Example:
-------------------
>>> a=10
>>> b=20
>>> [var for var in dir() if not (var.startswith('_') or var=='var')]
['a', 'b']
>>>
-------------------
