Hi all,

I'm thinking about aiming Fiona 1.0 at Python 3.3 and back porting to
Python 2.6/7, following Brett Cannon's suggestion at
http://docs.python.org/dev/howto/pyporting.html#choosing-a-strategy. Have
any of you tried this approach? How did it go?

Another question on my mind: would I lose any Fiona contributors if I made
this switch? BTW, modulo the bytes/str issue, Cython seems to be smoothing
out the porting process.
