Summary: suprocess cannot handle shell arguments
Initial Comment:
If you try and include arguments to the shell in
subprocess you get a traceback:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/subprocess.py", line 558, in
__init__
errread, errwrite)
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/subprocess.py", line 907, in
_execute_child
args = ["/bin/sh", "-c"] + args
TypeError: can only concatenate list (not "tuple") to list
A simple list() should solve the issue.
