I went back to 2.6.5 from 3.1 and everything worked fine. I haven't looked at the internals of what could cause this, but one thought would be that there is something different with the sip bindings in this version that causes methods to not be found in the DLL? That's a complete shot in the dark since I haven't even bothered to look at what that DLL error is, nor read the generated source.
