My app works perfectly, but it behaves differently when I run it on Windows:
On Linux, I click on the ComboBox, and it pops up the list; I browse the
list, then click to select. On Windows, I press the mouse button on the
ComboBox, and the list pops up; but if I release the button, it pops down
immediately, whether or not I have made a selection. I have to hold down
the mouse button while browsing the list, and the selection is made when
the mouse button is released.

I don't see a setting for this anywhere. I want the Linux behavior. Menus
work the same on both platforms; it's just ComboBoxes that seem to fail
on Windows.

I can't find anything about this on Google (which leads to a second
question: why is this mailing list archive marked "noindex"?
