My app works perfectly, but it behaves differently when I run it on Windows: On Linux, I click on the ComboBox, and it pops up the list; I browse the list, then click to select. On Windows, I press the mouse button on the ComboBox, and the list pops up; but if I release the button, it pops down immediately, whether or not I have made a selection. I have to hold down the mouse button while browsing the list, and the selection is made when the mouse button is released.
I don't see a setting for this anywhere. I want the Linux behavior. Menus work the same on both platforms; it's just ComboBoxes that seem to fail on Windows. I can't find anything about this on Google (which leads to a second question: why is this mailing list archive marked "noindex"? -- Lee Daniel Crocker <[email protected]> Sacramento, CA, USA "All creative works or inventions original to me are placed irrevocably in the public domain, and may be used in whole or in part for any purpose without permission or notification."
