2006/8/1, Rafael Villar Burke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
The current layout, with the author and date under the title is quite good. The problem with short content paragraphs is that they produce the effect John points at. Maybe it's worth using an italic font to differentiate even more the news info from the other sections. It's perhaps a bit less clear, but it's also a convention using that for that sort of information.
I do agree with Rafael on this, but I think that all the very small details that come up in the last few emails can also be fixed while the new site is online, not that I'm asking to hurry but.... :)
Something we should think about too is the existing policies about the gnome logo use. Some time ago Thomas Wood (thos) changed the gnome icon to a new version, as you can see in the Changelog (24-10-2005), as all the gnome related sites were updated. He can probably clarify on this point. (Anyway... don't get stopped by this, it's just to have it in mind).
That's a good point.
Good work, really,
