With the latest release of GTK+ 2.8.0, how will the new Cairo-powered support for vector graphics be accessible through PyGTK? Will it be as simple as instantiating a shape and attaching event handlers, or will it be a lower level interface similar to that in PyCairo? Are there any PyGTK examples illustrating the new vector graphics support? PyCairo has some, but they're fairly limited when it comes to interactive widgets.
