Remember that you need to protect all gtk+ calls with gdk.threads_enter/gdk.threads_leave, or call them from the same module as you imported gtk from.
Your program is probably deadlocking somewhere. One way of finding out is to launch up gdb.
gtk functions are all called from the same thread. so I don't think I nead gdk.threads_enter/gdk.threads_leave function.
the thread is really finiched when I close my window. I tried to print sys.enumerate after it is closed, and this thread is not present.
