Thanks, Gustavo. I found RPMs for my distro, and got it working. My next (and last :-) problem is that I would like to draw a circular arc on the canvas. Am I stuck drawing line segments or best-fitting a Bezier curve or something similar? I've seen several implementations of fitting a Bezier curve to an eliptical arc floating around the net, but I was hoping to not have to resort to that.
