Looks a little bit arrogant, the writer of this document.

And once he decided, very closed-minded, as the mail clients didn't had
evolved since berkeley mail ;-)]

This seems a very nice traffic-killer for huge mailing lists, as most
messages are going to the previous poster only - OR a bandwidth killer
in big lists, as people are going to get used to reply to all, so
several messages are going to be received twice.
