Wow! I am impressed. :-) There are a couple of small spelling and minor grammatical errors that I'll send to you tomorrow morning (too late now to think straight), but they are really small fish. I particularly like the effort you went to to identify the various places where the behaviour is counter-intuitive and the links to specific bugs.
