Let me give my point of view:
Thanks to all that report bugs. I try to fix them as fast as I can.
The last one was the 64 bit issue. I hope that I did not miss an other
bug. But still I lack bug reports. Numpy/numarray strides are not
necessarily multiples of the native type; someone reported that problem
on the website of his project, but did it not report to the mailing
list. I have already improved vector/matrix conversion to fix this
problem; I will put it in cvs today or tomorrow.
This project is my hobby and currently I am the only active maintainer.
So any participation is more than well come.
Some may argue that the version number is far too low.
I never saw any request to add a feature (except perhaps ufunc wrappers
for special funcs, which is in the testing part. The other
implementation still exists, as numarray ufuncs are different from
numeric/numpy ones).
I will not change interfaces just to make others life difficult. If it
happens, just send a mail, so that it can be fixed.
Hope that clears a few things up.
Sincerely yours
Pierre
