        thanks for your effort. I think our mails just passed each other.


Some tests still fail. Also find attached results of the tests. Test
that failed are
block_test.py
interpolation_test.py
statistics_test.py
These check if the pygsl/gsl code is really checking the length, which fails. I hope I fixed the error for now.... so that the dimensions check is working.

In the last mail I started to discuss the idea of this -1.
It is to show the function, that the dimension does not need to be checked. Now passing an int where a long is expected is not a good idea ... :-(( sorry, my fault

This is useful, if a gsl function expects two vectors of the same size. Then one can accept the first with arbitrary dimension, and then check if the second one has approbriate length.
