Andreas Would it be possible at all to create a version of PyOpenCL that does not link to and does not need any proprietary drivers? Maybe via a make option.
I think it will help adoption of pyOpenCL if code that is written using pyopencl will 'always run' even if no GPU is available. If there is already such a version, please excuse my ignorance and point me in the right direction. Riaan
