Add Comment   Puppet / PUP-2338 ACL silently fails on symlinks Currently if a user uses a symlink as the target of the "acl" resource type Puppet will not report an error during application, it just silently fails. In reality the "acl" resource type does not support symlinks so the appropriate behavior would be to throw an error informing the user that symlinks are not supported.
