Here's an enabling patch for the next goal of supporting AC3 passthrough. This patch allows to play locally with the analog output or play out on the SPDIF output. Switching from one to the other can be done through the pavucontrol/configuration tab. I added a new path and profile so that hw muting is done through the IEC ALSA controls. Also removed profiles such iec-surround40 with do not make any sense (SPDIF) is stereo. There could be a need for evolutions to detect the digital output, on my system device 0 is analog and device 1 is digital. This could be an issue for cards with multiple analog devices.
