[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dev$ ls -ld /dev/shm drwxrwxrwt 2 root root 40 2007-11-20 12:44 /dev/shm [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dev$ mount | grep shm devshm on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/dev$ I'm uninstalled pulse again. I am having a recurring problem with the volume range on Intel HDA. 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02) Kernel is git head. I have to turn the volume up to 100% in pulse, my apps and my speakers to be able to hear anything. If I remove pulse my volume is ok. That was with pulse 0.9.6-1ubuntu2 > > Also, please upgrade to 0.9.7.
