Meson is much nicer than autotools, see

With this patch, you can invoke
meson build -Ddocs=true
ninja -C build
sudo ninja -C build install
to compile and install the package.
Ninja accepts many targets:
ninja -C build <target>
For example, `doc/README` to build the textual readme file, `test` to run tidy
(when available) on HTML docs, and `paprefs-pot`, `paprefs-gmo` and
`paprefs-update-po` for various localization needs.
