Hi all,
I'm installing two ethernet cards to make firewall router
connected with ADSL provider using Redhat Linux 8.0 server.
After activating ppp0 to the provider, I can get a connection
to my ADSL provider via an ethernet card, eth1. However, the
connection stops after activating the other card for my
intranet, eth1. Ping to the server from a Win2000 client
machine in the intranet is successful, so eth0 seems to be
normaly installed. I stopped the connection of eth0 using
the standard GUI tool of RH 8.0, and I checked the connection
of ppp0, but ppp0 was still dead. Next, I stopped and restart
ppp0, then I got the connection again to the provider. I
can't activate the two connection at the same time. I had no
problem with RH 7.3 and RH 7.2 on the same machine with the
same ethernet cards, with the same installation using standard
GUI tool. Does anyone have similar experience?
Any advise is greaty received.
