I take that as a broad hint you already have a SpamAssassin running and need
to remove it before installing the new one.

Anyone successfully got SpamAssassin to work without throwing errors? I
have tried to install the RPM as well as a CPAN install, however it keeps
blowing up with an error that reads:

already in use at /etc/rc.d/init.d/spamd line 217
This was version SpamAssassin-2.50cvs
Any help is appreciated!!!
