Could you define what you mean by this? There's a number of different ways to do this, depending on what you need. I have a little behavior that I call a combo box, where there's a normal Select list, and I append a New... option to the end. Selecting that option hides the Select and creates a normal Text input in its place. Blurring out of that text box without entering anything reveals the original Select.
