Hi Colin, well..... this is embarrassing.... :-) I was not aware of "textfile collector" existing already.
Today I've just added a ttl feature to ensure a broken batch job will not produce the same metrics forever. Dont know if the Textfile Collector has something similar. Apart from that - you're right.
