SFTP is not FTP, it is a subsystem of SSH and is handled by SSH server, not
by FTP server :). It usually goes in pair with SCP, if you can do SFTP you
can do SCP and vice versa.

FTP over TLS is a different thing. I have actually never seen it used in the
field. Typical FTP clients don't support it, so I consider it a niche.

But that's a bit off-topic, I think...
