Hi Raharley,

maybe Tarek Ziade's Expert Python Programming could be a starting point,
although it does contain no information on Zope and Plone directly, but 
describes in some detail the required Python management tools. To me it seems 
to contain some of the hidden precondition information needed to understand 
what the Plone and Zope developers are talking about. I have just rediscovered 
this book I bought some time ago and I believe it may be helpful as 
contrasting information as opposed to your working through the ZMI.
