Not at all.
Don't bother unless you must insist on having blatant configuration
mistakes in main.cf (bad lookup table syntax, absurdly long
full_name_encoding_charset setting).
This exercise is more about future-proofing Postfix: eliminating
undefined behavior that may change as system architectures evolve,
and making code easier to maintain by other peoiple. And, of course,
as a pre-emptive strike to find things before other people do. All
this assuming that there is a future for systems that are implemented
in C/C++.
