Hi, here's a port for https://laszip.org/, a library to compress point cloud files (known as LAS) - will be useful for a geo/pdal update i'm working on. Its source is also in geo/lastools, but there's no way yet to build against this lib. It might be used by other geo/* bits too at some point.
