I'm definitely not trying to imply that is *the* solution. It's a hack that works. It only fixes those gnome ports, not others that are failing for the same reason. I'd have pushed harder if I thought it was a real solution. cwen had proposed one that only did it for the lld.bfd architectures, but I guess there is some issue with that needing to pull in bsd.arch.mk? --Kurt
