I personally set tunnel interfaces in wiresep to non-PTP and respect whatever other flag was already set by default [1]. In PTP mode my address assignment code fails later on, I assume because of prefix masks. [1] https://github.com/timkuijsten/wiresep/blob/v0.8.4/ifn.c#L2502-L2508
