there is a nonempty "lock" file saying

and a nonempty "status" file saying
sending to 147.32.232.36
long after the printing has finished (and long after
tcpdump has stopped reporting any traffic with the printer).
I see the same on my other machines with lpd running.
Is that a bug in lpd?
Is it be related to firefox not seeing the printer?
