sorry, that was my bad. I should have use patch -p0. With that it builds fine and runs as I'm used to (finding and copy&paste of passwords). I don't want to comment on Alloc.cpp - it sounds like jca@'s advice may be good to explore. otherwise ok thfr@, but you should get another ok from someone with a better grasp on Alloc.cpp.
