That is seriously idealistic. The upstream software teams must decide to do that. After that, the "port" has no work to do. It is generally impossible for a "port" to solve this problem. It's like adding pledge, unveil, or privsep to a piece of software upstream-maintained by a group who doesn't understand the concept or benefit yet...
