Attached is a new port, math/ebc. ebc is another bc(1)/dc(1) calculator. --- pkg/DESCR: This is an implementation of the POSIX bc calculator that implements GNU bc extensions, as well as the period (.) extension for the BSD flavor of bc. This bc also includes an implementation of dc in the same binary, accessible via a symbolic link, which implements all *BSD and GNU extensions, though the ! command is omitted for security concerns. ---Worked with upstream a bit to get this into import shape. We settled on ebc/edc as the binary names since bc/dc are the names of the utilities in base and gbc/gdc are the names of the GNU ones in ports. ebc/edc follows similar conventions (ereadline, egcc, etc.).
Works on at least amd64, macppc, and hppa, though I assume this will work everywhere.
