Does it make sense here to change PKGNAME to py-black-${MODPY_EGG_VERSION:S/b/pl/}? I get upstream's point, that these are currently beta releases but they're also effectively patch levels. And at least the pl mechanism is recognized within the ports tree.
Also, do you want to take MAINTAINER? Otherwise it looks fine. ~Brian
