If LANG is set abiword fails...

$ abiword
Abort trap (core dumped)

Try this

$ env LANG= abiword
$

I also get flickering with abiword, abiword falling over has been a
problem for a long time.

This is on a machine that hasn't been updated yet with clang built packages.
