The english version is on the right of the page.  In that news item,

"Scons is used instead of Autotools. Scons is good."

Isn't this enough to kill it? :)

Upstream seems to be at

  https://github.com/psemiletov/tea-qt

"Initial commit" in 2016, no "gtk" branch.  Maybe someone could ask
upstream, but it smells like the gtk branch is pining for the fjords.
