I don't have particular opinion about that. The script is very simple, has no dependances outside base. And I don't expect to have to modify it too often... But programs inside infrastructure/bin seems to have a more general purpose than cargo-generate-vendor which is just for cargo related stuff. -- Sebastien Marie
