On a semi-related note, there is a bug in either gvim or gtk2 which causes an X crash if the default acceleration method is used on an Intel graphics card. In the past, I have used the motif flavour to work around this. Not sure if that is a reason to not GC it. Especially given that you can work around the bug by using UXA acceleration. In case anyone is interested, here is a thread about that bug: http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-x11&m=146411135423711&w=2 -- Best Regards Edd Barrett http://www.theunixzoo.co.uk
