Indeed, just noticed bentley@ did all the work already in openbsd-wip. I tested with the examples given on the site and some of the linked tutorials, but can confirm the games mentioned do not work. Please discard my post, as the update is in openbsd-wip already and it doesn't make sense to commit it at this point. Also, in light of this, I obviously do not know the Love ecosystem well enough to take maintainership :) Sorry for the noise.
