After opening a new firefox, creating a new tab (ctrl-t or click the +), the second tab is opened in the background and unusable (cannot click on it to bring it forward, cannot ctrl-tab to select it).
The workaround is to either close one of the tabs or open a third one. Tested with an empty .mozilla. Ray
